@ The Jam Jam Beverage Project

Iced Lemon Tea Experience Lab is a creative community initiative we designed to transform the local stories of the Tuen Mun district—ranging from romantic first-love encounters at the Gold Coast to the area's infamous traffic jams—into unique, interactive iced lemon tea experiences.

Through our interactive workshops, we guided participants using our structured "Food-based Creative" method to design multi-sensory edible experiences. This journey combined a collaborative community mapping exercise with edible performance. Participants didn't just map out local histories and personal memories using emoji stickers; they also analyzed the playful gap between the "designed purpose" and "real-life use" of neighborhood spaces.

Translating these community stories into edible experiences, participants designed iced lemon tea-drinking narratives that enable unique performance and storytelling elements. These final, highly imaginative recipes were captured in workshop video recordings, inviting others to try making these Tuen Mun-inspired beverages at home!
