Dialogue on 300 years

In Dialogue of 300 years, Deep Food has curated an intimate tea gathering experience that features canton porcelain work by Dixon Ngai, engaging the public in discussing and learning about the traditional craft through enjoying experimental tea treats designed by Deep Food.

 

The tea time experience featured a multiple-course Chinese sweet osmanthus dessert set served in canton porcelain dishes, enabling diners to interact with the traditional craft throughout the meal. Diners also learned about the challenges of preserving tradition through storytelling.

 

Since both the sweet osmanthus desserts and the porcelain craft have 300 years of history from now, the three courses of dessert each tell a story about the traditional Chinese craft's past, present, and future.
