At the Edible Exhibition at V&A Museum of Childhood by Bompas and Parr, food imagined by children are realized by the design studio: from the edible bubble and poster to edible tornado and cloud. We are amazed by the execution of the children's ideas that push the imagination of the adults. We also appreciated much on the comprehensive finishing of the project, including the illustrations and workshop facilitation. Image and video from Bompas and Parr.

We saw this imaginary meat "design" by Marije Vogelzang from a food design exhibition in ShenZhen of the designer this winter, where we saw the most complete collection of her works. We like this piece in particular because of the rigorous research towards the nature and evolution behind all these imaginary meat designed for human to consume.

The solar kitchen restaurant by Marti Guixe perfectly illustrate how food design can be a total immersive experience from every food to the environmental setting. We like this project because it communicate very well about the adaptive relationship between man and nature through the idea of a resturant.

This is a Christmas dinner for Droog Design in the Netherlands, designed by Marije Vogelzang. It is one of the most classic example of how experimental food design is. We like the idea because of the stirking visual effect and its unique interaction the simple setting have led to.
